NWA strives to provide a fun, structured recreational program that encourages the skill and ability development of each child.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
WIGGLE WORMS (Ages 1-3)
Wiggle Worms is a fun, playful gymnastics class designed especially for little ones ages 1–3 and their grown-up! Together, you’ll explore movement, build confidence, and develop early gymnastics skills through age-appropriate activities and plenty of wiggle time.
With the help of a parent or caregiver, little gymnasts will practice climbing, rolling, balancing, jumping, and navigating fun gymnastics equipment while building coordination, strength, body awareness, and independence. Wiggle Worms is the perfect introduction to the gym in a supportive, social, and playful environment where toddlers can learn, explore, and have fun!
Weekday classes: Drop in (pay per class or punch card)
Saturday class: Session based
Class Duration: 45 min
Recommended Attire: Comfortable clothing. No socks for student and no shoes for parent.
PRESCHOOL TUMBLERS (Ages 4-5)
Build strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence in this fun and energetic gymnastics and tumbling class! Students will learn age-appropriate gymnastics skills, tumbling techniques, balance, jumps, rolls, and more in a supportive environment.
Class duration: 50 min
Recommended Attire: Comfortable clothing. No zippers or buttons.
NINJA, GYM & TRAMP
Get ready to jump, tumble, climb, and have a blast! Our Ninja, Gymnastics & Trampoline class combines exciting ninja skills, gymnastics fundamentals, and trampoline and tumbling fun in one action-packed class. Students will build strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, body awareness, and confidence while learning skills at their own pace. From rolls, jumps, and tumbling to obstacle courses, climbing, and trampoline tricks, there’s something for every energetic athlete!
Perfect for kids who love to move, explore, and challenge themselves in a fun, supportive environment.
Pre-requisite: None

TUMBLE NINJAS
Get ready to flip, bounce, tumble, and unleash your inner ninja! Tumble Ninjas is an action-packed class where kids combine the excitement of gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling, and ninja-style skills. From big jumps and powerful rolls to flips, tricks, and obstacle challenges, every class is designed to build strength, coordination, confidence, and tons of FUN!
Whether your child is a beginner or already loves to move, Tumble Ninjas will have them jumping higher, tumbling faster, and feeling like a total ninja!
Pre-requisite: None

TRAMP & TUMBLING
Our Trampoline & Tumbling class is designed to help students develop strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, body control, and confidence while learning a variety of exciting skills. Classes focus on proper technique, safe progressions, and skill development in a fun and supportive environment.
Students will work on trampoline basics such as jumps, turns, seat drops, and body positions, as well as tumbling skills including rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, walkovers, and other age- and skill-appropriate movements. As students gain strength and confidence, they can progress toward more advanced skills, combinations, and routines.
Class duration: 50 mins
Pre-requisite: Needs to be in appropriate age class.

JR NINJA (Ages 4-6)
In the Jr Ninja class students will build strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, body awareness, and confidence while learning skills at their own pace. The class will use the trampolines, tumbling surfaces and ninja courses to work on basic skills, progressing based on skill and ability.
Perfect for kids who love to move, explore, and challenge themselves in a fun, supportive environment.

GIRLS BEGINNING GYMNASTICS (Ages 5-10)
Our Girls Beginning Gymnastics class is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of gymnastics! Designed for young gymnasts who are new to the sport, this class focuses on building confidence, coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness in a fun and encouraging environment.
Gymnasts will learn foundational skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, jumps, balances, and basic work on gymnastics equipment. Coaches will help each athlete progress at her own pace while developing safe movement habits and a positive attitude toward learning new skills.
Whether your child is brand new to gymnastics or ready to build on the basics, this class is a fun way to get moving, make friends, and discover the joy of gymnastics!

GIRLS ADVANCED BEGINNING GYMNASTICS (Ages 5-10)
Our Girls Advanced Beginning Gymnastics class is designed for gymnasts who have mastered the basics and are ready to take the next step in their training. This class builds on foundational skills while introducing more challenging progressions in a fun, structured, and supportive environment.
Gymnasts will continue developing strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and body awareness while refining skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, jumps, and introductory skills on gymnastics equipment. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, safe movement habits, and increased control as athletes begin working toward more advanced variations.
Coaches will guide each gymnast at her own pace, encouraging confidence, consistency, and a positive attitude as she grows her skill set. This class is perfect for children who are ready to move beyond beginner skills and continue building a strong gymnastics foundation while having fun and staying active.

Pre-requisite: Successfully completed Beginning and/or coach recommendation

GIRLS INTERMEDIATE GYMNASTICS (Ages 6-10)

Our Intermediate Girls' Gymnastics class is designed for gymnasts who have a solid understanding of fundamental gymnastics skills and are ready to build confidence while progressing toward more advanced techniques. This class provides a fun, positive, and challenging environment where athletes can develop their skills at their own pace.
Gymnasts will work on all four major events—vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise—while also developing the strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and body awareness needed for continued progression.
Classes may include:

Floor: handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, bridges, walkovers, handstand variations, and progressions toward more advanced tumbling skills.

Bars: swings, pullovers, casts, back hip circles, dismounts, and progressions toward more advanced bar skills.

Beam: mounts, turns, jumps, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, dismounts, and confidence-building routines.

Vault: proper running and jumping technique, handstands, front handspring progressions, and other age- and skill-appropriate vault drills.

Strength & Flexibility: core, upper-body, and lower-body conditioning, along with stretching to support safe skill development.
Each class combines instruction, drills, circuits, and skill practice to keep gymnasts engaged and moving. Coaches focus on proper technique, safe progressions, and individualized feedback while encouraging athletes to challenge themselves and celebrate their accomplishments.
GIRLS ADVANCED GYMNASTICS (Ages 6-10)
Take your gymnastics to the next level in our most advanced girls gymnastics class at Northwest Aerials! This class is designed for experienced gymnasts who have developed a strong foundation of gymnastics skills and are ready to challenge themselves with more advanced techniques, combinations, and progressions.
Gymnasts will receive focused instruction across vault, bars, beam, and floor, with an emphasis on proper technique, body control, strength, flexibility, and consistency. Athletes will work toward mastering advanced skills while learning how to connect skills into combinations and routines.
In addition to skill development, this class places a strong emphasis on strength and conditioning, flexibility, balance, coordination, and mental focus. Gymnasts will be challenged to push beyond their comfort zones while learning the importance of perseverance, attention to detail, and confidence.
Coaches will provide individualized feedback and progressions based on each gymnast’s ability and experience. Athletes will have opportunities to refine existing skills, work toward new advanced skills, and develop the consistency needed to perform skills safely and confidently.
This is a fast-paced, challenging class intended for gymnasts who are committed to improving their gymnastics and are excited to take on more difficult skills. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to accept coaching, and commitment to safety are essential.

TWEEN GYM & TRAMPOLINE (Ages 9-13)
A high-energy class where tweens can jump, tumble, learn, and grow! This class focuses on developing foundational and intermediate trampoline and tumbling skills in a fun, encouraging setting. Students will work on proper form and technique while building coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, agility, and confidence.
Each class will offer a mix of trampoline drills, tumbling skills, jumps, combinations, and skill progressions. Students will have opportunities to practice skills such as handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, trampoline jumps, and other age-appropriate movements. Instructors will adjust activities to meet students where they are, allowing beginners to learn the basics while more experienced athletes continue to refine and advance their skills.
Beyond learning tricks and techniques, students will develop body awareness, perseverance, and confidence as they work toward personal goals. The class is open to all skill levels and provides a welcoming space for tweens to stay active, challenge themselves, and have fun with their peers.
