Qualification information
Per USA Gymnastics, gymnasts will qualify for XCEL Regionals as follows.

Graduating Seniors: All Xcel Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire graduating seniors who qualified for and competed at their State Meet will advance to Regionals.

Xcel Gold: Gold qualifiers will be determined by a percentage of a percentage, with final qualifiers announced at State Meets.

Xcel Platinum: Athletes must achieve a 35.00 All-Around score at their State Meet.

​​Platinum Declared Individual Event Specialists: Athletes declared as Individual Event Specialists will qualify with an 8.75 or higher on any event at their State Meet.

Xcel Diamond & Sapphire: Athletes must achieve a 34.00 All-Around score at their State Meet.

Any Diamond or Sapphire athletes who were not declared a specialist and achieves an 8.75 or higher on any event at their State Meet may qualify to compete at Regionals on that event only.

Event Specialist Petitions: Athletes petitioning to the Regional Championships as Event Specialists must have achieved a 9.0 or higher on the petitioned event during the competitive season.
