History of Northwest Aerials
Northwest Aerials began on August 1, 1979 as a small program conducting classes at Seattle Pacific University in the evenings and Saturdays while the owner, Patti Gable, was attending the University of Washington. Upon Patti's graduation from the UW in May of 1981, she moved the club to a Kirkland location down the street from where we are located today.
Her small customer base of 100 students grew rapidly, and Patti moved the facility to our present home in 1994. Featuring programs in gymnastics, dance, swimming and trampoline, NWA is the premier program in the Northwest as well as one of the oldest and largest gymnastics schools in the country.
In addition to offering the best quality of classes, the team program at NWA has produced over 200 state champions, 20 regional champions and 20 gymnasts on the United States and Regional National Teams. Our finest accomplishment has been the fact that 7 of our athletes have received collegiate scholarships in gymnastics, and we are the home of the 1999 National champion.
